Privacy Policy
Effective August 1, 2026. This policy explains what Heavy Metric collects through this website and how that information is used.
Information you choose to send
Heavy Metric may collect your email address when you join the email list, plus any name, business details, questions, notes, or links you choose to include when you contact us directly.
Do not include passwords, financial information, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information in a website form, ordinary email, or shared-media link.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry or evaluate a requested content project.
- To prepare recommendations, drafts, examples, publishing plans, or related client work you request.
- To send Heavy Metric field notes when you explicitly join the email list.
- To understand where inquiries came from and improve the website and intake process.
- To protect the forms from spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions.
Email list
Email-list submissions are used to send Heavy Metric ideas and updates about turning real business material into useful content. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or request removal by contacting us. Joining the list is separate from creating a Heavy Metric workspace.
Storage and service providers
Email-list submissions are processed through Heavy Metric’s hosted automation system and stored in access-controlled business systems. We may use hosting, automation, email, cloud-storage, and publishing providers to operate the public website and deliver requested communications. Those providers receive only the information needed for their role.
Retention and deletion
Inquiry information is retained while a request is active and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up, recordkeeping, and service improvement. Email-list information is retained until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. We may retain limited records when required for security, legal, or accounting purposes.
Advertising measurement and cookies
Heavy Metric uses Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel only after you select “Allow measurement” in the site’s cookie notice. When allowed, these services may receive the page path, browser and device information, IP-derived information, and limited event details such as page views, important section views, email-list signups, CTA and plan selections, app-signup handoffs, contact clicks, and video engagement.
Heavy Metric does not send form answers, names, business names, email addresses, or URL query values to Google Analytics or Meta through this measurement layer. A sign_up event means that an email-list signup succeeded; an app_handoff event means that a visitor selected a public-site link leading to the separate Heavy Metric signup flow.
Google and Meta may use cookies or similar technologies to provide analytics, measurement, attribution, and advertising services under their own terms. You can decline without losing access to the site. You can reopen Cookie choices in the footer to withdraw or change your selection. Hosting infrastructure may separately create standard security and access logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time.
Sharing and sale
Heavy Metric does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers supporting the work, including Google and Meta for consented website measurement, with your direction, or when required to protect rights, safety, or comply with law.
Your choices
You may decline or withdraw Google Analytics and Meta Pixel consent using Cookie choices in the footer. You may also ask what ordinary inquiry information Heavy Metric has about you, request a correction, unsubscribe from marketing email, or request deletion where applicable. Email alex@heavymetric.com with the subject “Privacy request.”
Changes to this policy
Heavy Metric may update this policy as the service and website change. The effective date at the top will be revised when material changes are published.
